This elegant wedding was hosted at Lucky 8 Ranch Events Venue in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The wedding party started the day at The Boathouse in downtown Steamboat Springs. This venue is on the Yampa River and provides amazing views, especially on their roof top and deck. The weather was beautiful. It was a sunny day with a slight breeze flowing from the river. After getting ready, the bride had a very emotional first look with her bridesmaids and father while overlooking the water. Then they traveled to Lucky 8 Ranch Events Venue located just thirty minutes south in Oak Creek, CO. This venue has incredible mountain views and also doubles as an American Bison ranch.
One highlight I loved about this venue was how hands-on the venue owner was. You can tell he truly cares about each of his couples and making sure they have an amazing day.Â
After their nuptials, guests were shuttled down to the reception site where they were greeted with a live ensemble, custom drinks, and a lavish grazing board. The wedding party took photos at the ceremony site, and then we finished the couple’s portraits down the road by a Bison.
